David Harwell
The sense of intention and purpose that David brings to every area of life comes through as soon as you meet him, from the way he listens, asks questions, or digs to understand the deeper ‘why’ behind whatever he’s working on.
His career background includes framing houses, working in retail and in the restaurant industry, and installing sound and audio equipment, to a decade of electrical supply and sales and over a decade of playing bass guitar around the greater Jackson area with several local bands. He studied music education at Hinds Community College and Jackson State.
According to David’s mom, his career as a musician started as a 3-year-old when he began harmonizing with the vacuum cleaner. Currently, he plays with The Sal-Tines—an instrumental jam band, The Lonely Hearts—an 80’s, 90’s and contemporary pop event band, and Anse Rigby—an original singer-songwriter.
David is married to his high school sweetheart, Deidre. They have three children and live in Pearl.
